e-Pirates?

OK, here are two quirky bits of Web effluvia with a common theme.

Worth1000.com (as in, "a picture is worth 1000 words") has contests at regular intervals in which you are invited to photoshop something up along certain lines. This contest is "if pirates ran the world", and it's pretty funny. While you are there, be sure to check out the other contests.

The second site is a bit out of date at this point, but no point in letting things go until the last minute. Just like some people do their Christmas shopping right after New Year's Day, why not get a jump on the 2005 "Talk Like A Pirate Day"! Shiver me timbers, it be only 10 months away, ye scurvy bilge rats...!
