Between May and July, a massive migration of sardines make a trip up the coast in a shoal of billions. These mega-schools are up to 10 miles long, two miles wide and over a hundred feet deep! And they are the mother of all buffets for a wide variety of ocean predators, including sharks, birds, dolphins and whales.
